NAI Chapters are powerful collaboration tools that honor and recognize inventors, researchers, and innovators that promote and foster the spirit of innovation at NAI Member Institutions. The NAI Chapter of Excellence Award honors NAI Chapters for their dedication to the Academy’s mission and achievements in key areas such as celebrating local inventors, supporting the next generation of inventors, and fostering a culture of innovation through programs and events.
Awardees are nominated by their NAI Member Institutions and recognized during the Annual Conference*. Nominations open March 1st, 2026 and close March 31,2026. Nominate a Chapter here.
